Edit together, in real time.

Invite people to a note and choose whether each can edit, comment or only read. You see each other’s cursors as you type, talk it through in comments, @mention someone to let them know, and can restore any earlier version.

  • Live cursors and presence
  • Comments, replies and @mentions
  • Version history with named versions
  • Publish a note as a clean web page
Two collaborators editing a note: coloured cursors with name flags, an AI agent appending a reading, and a comment thread in the margin.
The Share dialog with three people and their roles, an agent, and a link with an expiry date.

Invite with the right role

Editors change the text, commenters add comments, viewers read. Change a role or remove someone at any time.

Version history: named versions, agent checkpoints and changes attributed to each person.

Go back to any version

Loam keeps versions as you work. Name the important ones and restore any of them as a new version, so nothing is lost.

See who’s here

Each person gets a coloured caret with their name, so you can see where everyone is working.

Comments and mentions

Select text to comment on it, and resolve the thread when you’re done. Type @ in a comment or in the note to mention the owner, an editor or a commenter. They hear by push or email, at most once a day for each note, and an AI agent’s edits never notify anyone.
